Hello, I'm Sierra

Portrait and Lifestyle Photographer

Welcome! My name is Sierra and I'm a portrait photographer in the Dayton, Ohio area specializing in natural light and outdoor photography. I offer classic portrait sessions for families, individuals, and couples.


Since middle school, photography has been my way of documenting the world. Back then, it looked like setting up a makeshift studio with bedsheets and a stool to take portraits of my little sister and friends. By high school, I was hooked. I spent hours taking pictures with friends, developing film in the darkroom, and learning the ins and outs of digital editing.


When my parents gifted me my first DSLR, that passion became a permanent fixture of my life.


As an adult, my love for the craft evolved. I invested in a full-frame mirrorless setup and a telephoto lens, spending hours in nature tracking wildlife. That experience taught me the art of patience and how to anticipate the perfect, fleeting moment.


Bringing that same eye to portrait photography was a natural next step. Whether I’m capturing the quiet beauty of nature or the laughing, unscripted moments of a family session, my goal is the same: to preserve the authentic stories and genuine connections that make life beautiful.

I believe that a truly great photo session is built on a foundation of high professionalism and exceptional client care. From our very first conversation, my focus is entirely on your experience. I know firsthand that being in front of a camera can feel a bit vulnerable or awkward, which is why I design my sessions to be completely relaxed and pressure-free. I don’t use stiff, forced posing; instead, I focus on bringing out your genuine smiles and keeping you entirely at ease so your true personality can shine through.


I also understand the anticipation that comes after a session, and I don't want you waiting weeks to see the magic we created. Because I value your time and excitement, I am dedicated to a fast turnaround, proudly delivering your beautifully edited final images within 48 hours or less. From the moment you book to the second your gallery arrives, my goal is to make the entire experience seamless, fun, and completely effortless for you.
